What is Aquamation?
A gentle return to nature.
For too long, most families have only been offered one path for their pet's aftercare: flame cremation. It’s the default, but it can feel impersonal, rushed, and is hard on the environment. Aquamation (water cremation) offers a better way — one that honors them, brings peace to you, and stays true to your values every step of the way.
A Clear and Caring Process
From the moment your pet comes into our care, they are treated with gentleness and respect. We use a secure, transparent tracking system so you always know exactly where they are in the process.
Gentle Water Cremation
In a private compartment, warm water and natural alkali flow around your pet, gently and naturally completing what nature does over time — without flames, smoke, or environmental harm. This process takes about 24 hours. Afterwards, their remains are dried, processed, carefully packaged, and ready to be picked up in about one week.
Your Pet’s Pure Ashes
When the process is complete, your pet’s ashes (and their's alone) are carefully dried and returned to you in a fine, pure-white powder. You'll receive more ashes than with flame cremation, and no carbon residue. Alternatively, we can spread your pet's ashes in a peaceful location for those who prefer not to take the ashes home.
A Life Well-Remembered
How you honor your pet is up to you. We'll help you decide on intentional memorial keepsakes, help you plan a celebration of life in our Comfort Center, or simply give you space to gather and grieve.
Peace of mind is just a call away.

Yes. Aquamation is a water-based process that mimics natural decomposition in a much faster way. It uses much less energy than traditional cremation and — since there is no fire or smoke — it doesn’t release harmful emissions, making it a cleaner, gentler choice for both pets and the planet.
-
We can care for almost any pet with aquamation—cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, gerbils, reptiles, fish, and other small animals.
-
We want this part to feel as easy as possible. We can pick your pet up directly from your veterinarian’s office at no cost. We can also come to your home for a small fee, or you’re welcome to bring your pet to us yourself. However they arrive, you’ll be kept up-to-date and your pet will be handled with care every step of the way.

We know this is one of the biggest worries families have, and it’s completely understandable. To give you peace of mind, you’ll have access to our careful tracking system from start to finish. During the aquamation process, your pet is placed in a private compartment with no mixing between partitions. Each pet is cared for individually, and you’ll always know that the ashes you receive truly belong to your beloved companion.
-
Whatever feels meaningful to you! Some keep them in an urn or scatter them in a favorite place. Others choose to include them in memorial resin jewelry, safe planting soil for a tree, or even memorial coral reefs. There are many creative ways to use their ashes to honor your bond and the values you share, we’re here to help you find which one is right for you.
-
Not at all. Some people feel comfort in having their pet’s ashes at home, while others would rather remember them in a different way. If you don’t wish to receive the ashes, we offer communal options and can also suggest other ways to honor your pet’s memory.

Have a different question?
Your next chapter
A pet’s passing isn’t really the end. It is the start of a new chapter — one where you won't find them lounging on the couch (or crawling around their cage), but nestled in your heart. You're forever changed by having known them, and they will forever live on in you because you loved them. We’re here to help you feel at peace while you turn the page to this next chapter with a gentle farewell for a life well-remembered.
